Lin and T.C. Robertson

Lin and T.C. Robertson, co-owners of Due Vetro Studio (Due Vetro is Italian for “two” and “glass”, pronounced, doo-ay vet-row) have been collaborating on works of glass art since 1989. The work they produce has been collected across the U.S. and in Europe and Japan. T.C. is the primary glassblower for the studio and is influenced by the Italian glassblowing traditions of Venice and Murano.

He uses many traditional glass techniques to create pieces that have a modern look. Two of T.C.’s sculptures are in the Corning Museum of Glass. Along with being a glassblower, T.C. also has a degree in Ceramic Engineering and has designed and built several glass studios around the country.

Lin uses themes from nature, as well as Art Deco and geometric designs to create one-of-a-kind cameo style pieces. Each work is masked by hand and sand carved to produce the colored images. Lin’s painting, drawing and design background adds the graphic element to the cameo designs that make Due Vetro Studio so unique.

The glass produced at Due Vetro Studio is recognized for quality and excellent design throughout the world.
