Opened on Valentine’s Day of 1998, Octavia’s Haze Gallery has evolved into one of the most accessible and original glass and fine art galleries in San Francisco.

Octavia’s Haze Gallery is located in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, a growing contemporary fine art district in the heart of the city. Minutes from City Hall, Hayes Valley is also home to Symphony Hall, the Opera House and many other unique and independent specialty shops, galleries and restaurants.

Gallery owner Michael Eric Melampy grew up in Ohio in the 1970’s during the Studio Glass Movement. He often marveled at the beauty and nuance of glass.

After getting a degree in business, he worked as a stockbroker. In 1997 Eric left his job as stockbroker to pursue his life long love of glass and fine art.
